Noite de sexta de Comic-Con é, tradicionalmente, dia de festa para a indústria dos quadrinhos com os Eisner Awards – e não, não vou falar que é o “Oscar dos quadrinhos”, como a própria organização do evento chama a premiação. Neste momento todo mundo fica sabendo quais roteiristas, desenhistas, gibis e editoras se saíram melhor no ano anterior. E na lista de ontem, a Casa das Ideias fez uma RAPA.
A Marvel levou nada menos que CINCO troféus pra casa, incluindo Melhor Artista de Capa (Francesco Francavilla por Daredevil, entre outros) e Melhor Série Limitada (por Criminal: The Last of the Innocent, de Ed Brubaker e Sean Phillips). Porém, foi a nova fase do Demolidor que garantiu o bom desempenho da editora, tendo vencido nas categorias Melhor Roteirista (Mark Waid, também escolhido pelo trabalho emIrredeemable/Incorruptible), Melhor Edição (Daredevil #7) e Melhor Série Continua. No total, o personagem estava indicado em seis categorias.
É bom o Homem Sem Medo comprar uma estante grande pra colocar tantos prêmios em casa. =D
A editora do Cavalo Negro também teve uma noite para não esquecer tão cedo. Também foram cinco prêmios para a Dark Horse, incluindo Melhor Antologia (por Dark Horse Presents), Melhor Trabalho Baseado na Realidade (por Green River Killer: A True Detective Story, de Jeff Jensen e Jonathan Case).
No caso da DC, fiasco total. Foi apenas um prêmio, que foi para Laura Allred de iZombie (do selo Vertigo) e Madman All-New Giant-Size Super-Ginchy Special (aí já pela Image).
